This hotel de charme is located in an ancient building in a historic area in the center of Siena, built entirely of brick. In ancient times it was probably an inn that received travelers who came to Tuscany for business in the Middle Ages, a region that has always been dedicated to trade.
In its façade the bricks are of different types, with arrangements arranged to form the typical decorations of the 13th century civil architecture. in Siena, with large ogives and characteristic herringbone geometric motifs, such as the tiling of Piazza del Campo.
You enter the hotel through a small arched room, in brick of course, to be greeted at the reception by a young and enthusiastic staff.
Going beyond an arch you will discover the great room with walls entirely in brick with inclusions of antiquity from various eras, collected by an old owner of an antiquarian profession, now an integral part of the context. The curved ceiling at 6 meters high is frescoed and the motifs represent the coat of arms of "ancient Etruscan cities" and which have been part of the history of Siena, have been maintained and modernized over time.
At guests' disposal various types of rooms, different from one another, elegantly furnished with careful design, equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning and TV, junior suites and suites also have a lounge area
